Wardrobeblock : September favourites zara topshop black pleather pleated skirt burgundy shoes

Oh hello! Welcome to a new feature here on Wardrobeblock. Well, by all means it isn’t a new idea, but definitely new to the blog here. I thought I would show you my favourite clothes and beauty products each month, so… here we go! My new favourite skirt is the black Zara pleather pleated skirt which I bought in Barcelona – perfect for every weather type we have had in September! I’ve also enjoyed wearing my off-white Topshop jumper which has a sheer lace bib. It’s perfect for keeping me warm but it’s not too thick, and I bought this around three/four years ago. Another Spanish purchase and again from Zara; my coral knitted scarf - this is really long and soooo cosy! Finally, my Burgundy Topshop shoes which I’ve been living in recently! SO comfy and they look really cute with ankle socks.

On the beauty side of things, something I cannot live without is my L’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Conditioning Replenish Spray. I use this on the tips of my hair when it’s damp or dry before/while styling, and it really nourishes my dry ends. I’ve had this for a few months now and I’ll definitely be re-purchasing it. My favourite blush this month is the Tarte Amazonian Clay in Tipsy; this is really pigmented, stays on my cheeks all day and gives a beautiful peachy-pink flush. Something I’ve been trying to use as much as I can recently is the Sally Hansen Miracle Cure Nail Strengthener; this really does work for me, and I notice a big difference in the condition of my nails when using it. You have to really keep it up though and apply it every other day. If anyone suffers from dry or brittle nails like me, it’s a must try! A nail varnish I have only just bought but really adore is the Number 10 Metal Flip by Miss Sporty; it has a better name but it doesn’t have it on the bottle for some reason. It’s a pretty two-tone metallic colour in gold/green and purple. So unusual and it was only £1.99! A new mascara to me, but one I’m really enjoying is Bella Pierre Long Lasting Mascara; at first it was slightly too liquidy for me but after a few weeks it’s at a better consistency, and it really elongates my lashes while separating them to my liking. This month I have gone back to using eyeshadow in my brows instead of a pencil, and the MUA matte eyeshadow in 19 suits me really well. The shadow stays put and doesn’t smudge, while complimenting my skin tone and matching my hair colour… I just wish they did more matte eyeshadows! I usually have okay skin, but when I get spots they tend to be really really bad, but the Origins Super Spot Remover really works wonders. The spots it’s used on go away quicker than they normally would, and I’ve noticed that the redness after the spot has gone is less noticeable too. Even though the bottle is tiny (10ml!) I’ve had this for about five months and I’m about a third through, so it does go a long way and it worth the investment. Finally, a little something I picked up in Sephora while I was in Barcelona at the end of August was their Caramel/Toffee eau de toilette. I actually want to eat this, it smells soooooo gooooood and it’s not too sweet either. I only need one spray to last me all day, but the only thing is it’s a small bottle and we don’t have Sephora in England so I need to ration it. I’m half way through already!

I hope you enjoyed my September favourites! Let me know if you had any favourite products this month :)

Some of my faves are no.7 oil free eye makeup remover and its amazing! So expensive but worth it since getting something like bioderma to the us is so much more expensive! Also loving dulce gabbanas pour femme and reveal by halle berry so much right now, perfect for fall, also l’oreals telescopic mascara in carbon black is just beautiful and neutroginas after shower body oil is so great for just before bed. The I add lavender oil to my wrists for a calming effect. Makes me feel like a princess! I really want to get some of the origins spot remover, I am like you I hardly get spots but when I do it feels like they last forever bc I never treat it with anything but I wanna start trying something new :) great post love faves.
