Wish List 12 – It’s Christmas (almost)

These are some things I have asked for this Christmas from my family. I’m very excited about spending it in my hometown, and having a few well-deserved days off from work. This year Callum and I made most of the Christmas presents we are giving to my family, and I’m so excited to give them to them on Christmas day! I will post some photos after the day, as they read my blog and I would ruin the suprise!

Wish List 11 – A hint of mustard

I’m not often one for wearing muted tones, but this mix of greys, taupe’s and tan is fantastically chic. Dabbing in a hint of mustard and royal blue instantly transforms the outfit, and the addition of elbow pads makes it perfect for me (I’m a sucker for an elbow pad). The Jaeger Boutique blue sweater is something I really want, as I’m currently looking for a special royal blue jumper. I think I may well invest in the Forever21 scarf as this is more in my price range (and what an absolute bargain!), but I’m still searching for the perfect Autumn boots which are more affordable. I feel like I’ll never find them!

This weekend I’m meeting with some friends which should be fun! As well as that I will be resting as this week has been NON-STOP, with the mid-week overnight shift and everything. I’m still recovering!

I’ve had a really fantastic week at eCommerce; I hope I get to go back again! I’m actually sad it’s friday (shocker! Is this the first time I haven’t wished the week away?!) but I’m really looking forward to having a lazy weekend consisting of take-away, strolling to the charity shop, and trying not to go to the bank to shout at them again (I don’t recommend Halifax, fyi). Back to real-life work next week… the joys! I really want this coat though, I’ve tried it on and I am hoping it will go down from the ridiculous price point it is currently at. I must dash, I’m exhausted! Have a great weekend!

Wish List 9 – Motel Rocks!

I love this coat. Yesterday I tried it on and completely fell in love! It’s perfect… Fur and check?! Yes please! I think it would be wonderful with these heel boots too. One colour that keeps popping up in my outfits at the moment is burgundy, which brings the perfect winter warming colour to an otherwise dreary collection of pieces.

So the lovely Selina from Motel kindly invited me along to the Motel Bloggers Event last night, which is where I saw the coat. When I arrived I found a room jam-packed full of bloggers who were all excitedly chatting away. I met some lovely people and was introduced to some great new blogs, as well as spotting a couple of bloggers I already follow (who I was too shy to say hello to… if you saw me, I wasn’t being rude- I swear! I’m a shy one really). We were all given a yummy assortment of cocktails plus popcorn and candy floss! Glossybox were there as well which was fun because I don’t subscribe to them, and I would like to sample a taster of what they have to offer their customers. Thank you Motel for a wonderful event!

I’ve been off work most of this week, but my goal is to be in on Monday morning. I hate having time off work (I think prior to this I’ve had two days off in a year and a half… If I can get out of bed, I’m going into work), and because it’s a mental thing (is mental the right word? A mind thing? I’m not sure) I feel like people think I’m putting it on or something. I’m looking forward to the weekend though – my family are visiting on Saturday, then Callum, my sister and I are going to the park to watch the fireworks for Guy Fawkes which should be a fun! Then on Sunday me and my sister will do something in town, perhaps a market or The Natural History Museum. Hopefully I’ll be feeling a bit more positive!

My wishlists are not very vibrant at the moment, are they? I think the weather is dragging me towards a much darker wardrobe. I really want these trousers because I love spots and polka dots! I think even though the outfit is a bit dark colour-wise, the little details such as the peter pan collar and the trim on the loafers make it more exciting.
