FAQ

How did you do your hair?
I use B Blonde Highlighting Kit and tin foil. Firstly I straighten my hair and then part my hair down the centre. I do one side then the other – using the brush which comes with the kit I paint the peroxide onto the tips from the bottom upwards. It needs to be higher on the hair which comes from the back, because otherwise it won’t be straight. I leave the bleach on for about 20 minutes, then wash it all off. I dry my hair, and then it’s easy to see where I need to add more or where it’s patchy (and it probably will be, unless if you’re a hairdresser!). Then I repeat the process with a second kit. If you look up tutorials on YouTube these come in handy.
Remember, bleach is not good for your hair. It will be dry and straw-like the more you do this to it. Invest in good hair products because this will really help. I swear by L’oreal Elvive Leave in Conditioner Spray, which I use every morning. It’s less than £5 and lasts you absolutely ages, and it just goes to show that you don’t need to spend loads on a great product.

What camera do you use?
I use a Nikon D50 which I’ve had for almost seven years, with a 50mm f/1.8 Lens. If I’m in the photo, my boyfriend or Sister has taken the photo!

How do you edit your photos?
I use a mix of colours, layers and curves on Photoshop. I am self taught, and it’s often trial and error while I’m working on an image until I’m happy with it.
