This week has been my fave. I’ve been working at Head office with the content team, which I also did in November last year. The team are so lovely and it’s my dream place to work. Shame I’m back to regular work next week! Callum and I visited Greenwich this weekend as the weather was so lovely. I had to retrieve a scarf from Canary Wharf so we thought we’d nip over to the other side of the river and go to the market. I had an alright Thai noodle and an amazing Churro with Dulce de Leche (my all time favourite thing) and then found a pub that served Rekorderlig! It was literally the most perfect moment. This weekend my sister is coming up for the Saturday and we’ll have a wander around London, and then I really want to visit a new car boot sale on Sunday… It just depends how motivated I am at getting up in the morning! Hopefully I’ll get a few outfit photos taken so I can get back to regular blogging.

I am loving this Primark blazer at the moment! I know I’ve already featured it on the blog, but it’s great for work and really lightweight. Plus the colour is amazing! I really am into pastels in a biiiiig way (if you hadn’t guessed yet). Tomorrow I’m visiting my friend in Brighton which I’m looking forward to very much, I need a serious relax.

Hello! Hi! It’s me! I seem to have neglected the blog for the last couple of weeks. I’m a bit of a busy bee at the moment and am in need of a serious relax. I know, I know, I’ve mentioned that I’m very busy once or twice before. It’s true though!

This Saturday I met up with my lovely friend Becky who I haven’t seen in years, and this is what I wore for the day. We visited the Natural History Museum and had some cheeky drinks, it was a brilliant day! I saw this dress in Topshop months ago, but at £55 it was a little bit too expensive for me. I happened to pop back into the store last week and found it was in the sale for £30, so I snapped it up. It really is perfect for me! I don’t often buy from Topshop anymore (except for eBay things) despite most of this outfit being from there, so I hope it lasts me well! I need to seriously chill on the spending really… I’ve bought so many skincare and beauty products too as I’ve got ever so slightly addicted to Beauty vlogs. I need to save the pennies…

I’ve been very busy these past few days and haven’t had any time to take outfit photos! Work is leaving me feeling rather drained and I look slightly dead tired when I get home at the end of the day. I’m gonna try extra hard tomorrow evening, promise.

I found some undeveloped film last month, and these photos (taken with my Diana +) were on one of the rolls. I took these two years ago when we visited my boyfriends hometown (Lancaster). I love finding things you forget about, and I also love film!

My Grandma gave me this blouse the other month – There’s a matching skirt which my mother is taking in for me and I cannot wait to wear them together! I thought it was perfect for my mint green pastel blazer from Primark (which everyone has). This week has been so miserable weather-wise, I really hope the sun comes out at the weekend – I’m visiting my family and my extended family is visiting too. I’m hoping to go to a car boot sale if the weather holds up…

We found an amazing pub this evening which opened in March, and it’s only round the corner. I had cherry and strawberry beer, and tweeted some photos. It’s perfect!

I’ve hurt my foot and cannot walk, so I’m bed bound today. Typical, as the sun is shining! These are the last of my New York photos. I hope you’ve enjoyed them :)

Today is my parents 25th Wedding Anniversary, so Happy Anniversary if you are reading! I made them a very lovely card (if I do say so myself) on Funky Pigeon, which they loved. They’re off to a posh French meal on a boat right now, lucky ducks. Me on the other hand, I spent 2 hours cleaning the flat in preparation for Callums Dad who is visiting tomorrow until Sunday, then made a picnic dinner (this consists of baguette, houmous, salad, babybel, cheese and onion rolls, mozzarella and crisps) only to be forced to watch the football. Boys, pssh.

I’m thinking of the positives. It’s only two days until the weekend.

I bought this Whistles dress in the sale for £20, it was a total steal! It’s rather wintery, but as the weather has decided to bum out on us it’s still okay to wear for a while, I hope! When I was in New York I absolutely fell in love with Madewell, this gorgeous shop on Broadway, which is where I got the pyramid ring. Their windows were totally up my street – very busy with a hint of vintage and lots, LOTS of props. The product was also amazing but totally out of my price range. There was a dress I almost bought for just under $200… mental. Look at their website, but they don’t ship to the UK… I’m so sad!

Today is a lazy day. I had a few drinks last night so today will be a quiet one. I’ve had pancakes and coffee for breakfast, and I’m still in my pajamas (that word just looks wrong!). I thought I’d post a few more photos from my trip the New York… I cannot believe it was two months ago!

I’ve had this dress for years. Originally from Topshop, I bought it from eBay around 4 years ago. It’s not a regular, but I’m often drawn back to it now and then. Although I was much much slimmer back then it still fits (sort of), I love the colour and fabric and it can be easily dressed up or down. I bought the shoes the other day in the sale at Urban Outfitters… The only time I buy from Urban Outfitters is in the sale because even though the clothes are lovely it is sooooo expensive!

I bought the hand drawn ring along with a bottle necklace from Jewellery By Jamie when she had 50% off the other weekend. I absolutely love it! It’s absolutely one of a kind, and all her designs are beautiful. Check out her blog too!
