The other weekend I visited my family for a few days as it as my Mum’s birthday. It was actually a surprise, me turning up – I almost gave my mum a heart attack! I still don’t have any internet at home though, which makes me feel like I have no idea what’s going on in the world! I have a million things to do as well, which is particularly annoying. To the outfit, I had been looking out for a white ruffle shirt for ages. I had been very picky and wanted a particular one, and this one I found in a charity shop was perfect!

I love this dress -  saw it a while ago in Miss Selfridge and instantly fell for it, but for £45 I just couldn’t justify the spend. I managed to pick it up in the end for a bargain of £16 with various discounts a few weeks back… brilliant! The yellow is so fresh and summery and happy, and the collar detail with pearl button is so twee and perfect for me. As you can tell, I am totally swooning for this dress. As for the tattoos (well, the new additions) they are not real – they’re transfers for the jubilee! I was given them as a present after interning, and I think they are marvelous. I have lots of other designs (such as a portrait of the queen) which I still have to wear, might slap that on for Liz’s birthday…

This week has been my fave. I’ve been working at Head office with the content team, which I also did in November last year. The team are so lovely and it’s my dream place to work. Shame I’m back to regular work next week! Callum and I visited Greenwich this weekend as the weather was so lovely. I had to retrieve a scarf from Canary Wharf so we thought we’d nip over to the other side of the river and go to the market. I had an alright Thai noodle and an amazing Churro with Dulce de Leche (my all time favourite thing) and then found a pub that served Rekorderlig! It was literally the most perfect moment. This weekend my sister is coming up for the Saturday and we’ll have a wander around London, and then I really want to visit a new car boot sale on Sunday… It just depends how motivated I am at getting up in the morning! Hopefully I’ll get a few outfit photos taken so I can get back to regular blogging.

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend! Even though the weather was rather dull it sort of held out for a few hours yesterday so I could get some fresh air. We went to Cambridge for the day as my family were visiting my Grandma who lives just outside the city. It was a relaxing day with some lovely food, card games and fitting in sneaky readings of The Hunger Games (I read it in one day!).

I got these nail wraps done at the Motel press event the other week (these photos were taken the day after). It says they are supposed to last 10 days but they only lasted 3 days before they were ruined and I had to remove them, which I was a bit gutted about. I loved the design (even though my nails were a bit short for the illustrations), especially the vagina one (yes, it really is!) so I was disappointed they didn’t last longer!

These shoes are my favourite all time shoe. I picked them up from Beacons Closet in New York  for something like $15 and I’m so happy I found them! Callum, of course, hates them. He says he is embarrassed to be with me… Total spoil sport.

I bought the pink lace shirt from Hells Kitchen Flea Market for $2 which was such a bargain! I think it’s such a statement piece and fits into my wardrobe really well. It’s also very kitsch so of course I am in love with it. It was so fun to browse the vintage and second-hand clothes and miscellaneous items around New York… Can I go back already?! Also I’ve got my moneys worth out of these Topshop shoes I which I originally bought for #LDNlunch, I’ve literally worn them every day and they are so so comfy!

This weekend is supposed to be HOT HOT HOT in London, so Callum and I will probably go to the park for a picnic which I’m really looking forward to. I’ve kick-started my healthy eating plan today too – it’s consisted of lots of fruit & veg. I feel better already!
